Stuart Pearce insists that his Team GB side will be giving their all to defeat Uruguay on Wednesday night.

Stuart Pearce has called upon his Team GB side to beat Uruguay in their final group encounter on Wednesday evening.

Pearce's men know that a draw will be enough to qualify them for the quarter-finals of the Olympic Games, while also knocking out their South American opponents in the process.

However, Pearce believes that his side should be aiming to take maximum points.

"It's sudden death between us and Uruguay," he told reporters. "We'll be trying to win the match, no doubt."

Pearce was speaking after seeing his team defeat the United Arab Emirates 3-1 earlier tonight.
