Swansea City have opened discussions with Leicester City midfielder Andy King over a loan deal until the end of the campaign, according to a report.
The Wales international has been used sparingly this term and the Foxes are understood to be happy for him to move elsewhere for the next four months.
Sunderland emerged as surprise candidates to land the 29-year-old earlier this week due to his connection with former boss Chris Coleman, but Sky Sports News claims that Welsh outfit Swansea have now shown an interest.
King is said to prefer a temporary switch to the Liberty Stadium so that he can remain in the Premier League, with a permanent deal being touted for the summer should he impress.
Premier League title winner King has spent 14 years in Leicester's ranks, making more than 300 league appearances for the club since signing professional terms in 2007.
