Sunderland manager Chris Coleman has confirmed that the club are on the verge of signing Liverpool youngster Ovie Ejaria on loan.
The 20-year-old has not made any appearances for the senior team this season, having failed to build on the eight outings from the 2016-17 campaign.
Coleman has now revealed that the midfielder will have a chance to perform in the Championship as he comes in to replace Didier N'Dong.
"We will be bringing one in to replace him, the boy from Liverpool Ovie Ejaria is coming to us until the end of the season, which I am very excited about. He's a good player and a good addition to the squad," The Mirror quotes the Sunderland boss as saying.
"And there's another one that is not quite there yet - there is still a bit of a way to go, so it's tough for me to name names because it is not over the line."
Ejaria has been part of the Liverpool fold since 2014 when he joined the club's youth academy from Arsenal.
