Swansea City have reportedly become contenders to sign Ajax frontman Kolbeinn Sigthorsson.
The Swans have been linked with a number of strikers in recent days, including Michy Batshuayi and Luc Castaignos.
However, manager Garry Monk has also identified 24-year-old Sigthorsson as a candidate to ease some of the goalscoring burden on Wilfried Bony, according to speculation in Holland.
The reports have added that the Dutch champions would demand around £8m for a player that scored 12 goals last term.
Newly-promoted Queens Park Rangers are also thought to harbour an interest in the Iceland international.
