Swansea City's Garry Monk: 'No contact from rival clubs about Wilfried Bony'

Swansea City head coach Garry Monk insists that there has been no contact with other clubs regarding Wilfried Bony's availability.

Swansea City head coach Garry Monk has insisted that the club has not received any contact from potential suitors regarding the availability of Wilfried Bony.

The Ivory Coast international, who has a reported £25m price tag, has been linked to fellow Premier League outfits Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Everton, West Ham United and Newcastle United.

"There have been lots of stories, but we've had absolutely zero contact from anyone about Wilf and the fact is that as a club, we don't care anyway," Monk told Wales Online.

"We don't want to lose Wilf. We want him to stay with us and for him to be part of our future and the fact is that he is under contract."

Bony previously stated that he has ambitions of playing in the Champions League.
