Swansea City star Michu insists that he is "very happy" at the Liberty Stadium and quashes speculation over his future.

Swansea City playmaker Michu has insisted that he has no intention of leaving the Liberty Stadium after a scintillating start to his career with the Welsh outfit.

The Spaniard, who moved to the Premier League club in the summer from Rayo Vallecano for around £2m, has been linked with moves to the likes of Liverpool and La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid.

"Right now I'm happy, playing almost every minute and I'm very happy," Michu told Radio Marca. "It is always nice that you get talked about with teams like Atletico Madrid, one of the largest in Spain, but now I am very happy in Swansea."

The 26-year-old has netted 12 goals in the top flight so far.
