Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer news and rumours, including Morgan Gibbs-White's Nottingham Forest future, Jamie Donley to Luton Town and Michael Keane's potential Everton exit.

Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White is reportedly expected to stay at the City Ground for the 2024-25 season.

There has been a suggestion that Forest could sell Gibbs-White to help the club meet the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

However, according to Football Insider, the 24-year-old attacker is now expected to remain with Nuno Espirito Santo's side.

The Tricky Trees have eased their PSR concerns by selling Orel Mangala and Moussa Niakhate to French side Lyon.

From a sporting perspective, Forest have no interest in selling Gibbs-White, who is said to be happy at the East Midlands club.

Gibbs-White, who is under contract until June 2027, has scored 11 goals and provided 18 assists in 80 competitive appearances since completing a £42.5m move from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2022.

Luton eyeing Donley loan move

In the Championship, Luton Town are reportedly interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur youngster Jamie Donley.

The 19-year-old attacker scored six goals and provided 14 assists for the Tottenham Under-21 side in Premier League 2 last season.

Donley was also given the chance to make brief first-team appearances against Manchester City, Newcastle United and Brentford.

According to football.london, recently-relegated Luton are among a number of clubs who are keen to sign Donley on loan for the 2024-25 campaign.

The report claims that Rob Edwards's side are facing competition from fellow Championship sides Bristol City and Oxford United as well as third-tier Bristol Rovers.

Donley is also being linked with League One outfit Birmingham City, who are now managed by former Spurs assistant manager Chris Davies.

Tottenham are not prepared to consider a permanent departure, but they are willing to sanction a loan move to allow the youngster to gain regular playing time.

Keane future depends on Branthwaite

Back in the Premier League, Everton centre-back Michael Keane could reportedly leave the Merseyside club this summer.

The Toffees have already bid farewell to one defender, having seen Ben Godfrey depart for Serie A side Atalanta BC.

According to Football Insider, Keane could follow Godfrey out of the exit door, depending on whether Jarrad Branthwaite remains an Everton player.

The 22-year-old is attracting significant interest from Manchester United, but Everton's £70m asking price is proving to be a stumbling block in negotiations.

If Branthwaite remains at Goodison Park, Everton may deem Keane surplus to requirements and look to move him on this summer.

The 31-year-old had to settle for just 12 competitive appearances last season, as Sean Dyche preferred to utilise Branthwaite and James Tarkowski as his first-choice centre-back pairing.

With Keane in the final year of his contract, the summer transfer window represents one final chance for Everton to command a decent fee for the experienced defender.
