Huw Jenkins: 'Neil Taylor to remain at Swansea City'

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins reveals that defender Neil Taylor will not be leaving the Welsh club on deadline day.

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has revealed that defender Neil Taylor will remain at the Liberty Stadium.

The arrival of full-back Kyle Naughton from Tottenham Hotspur had put Taylor's position at the club in doubt, but Jenkins has insisted that the Welsh international will fight for his first-team spot.

Jenkins told BBC Wales Sport: "I have spoken to him and he doesn't want to go anywhere."

The 25-year-old has recently been the subject of interest from Crystal Palace.
