Report: Swansea City's Michu considering quitting football

Swansea City outcast Michu is reportedly considering retiring from football.

Swansea City outcast Michu is reportedly considering retiring from football.

The Spaniard spent last season on loan at Napoli, but only made a handful of appearances before returning to the Liberty Stadium.

The 29-year-old was linked with a move to Stoke City in the summer transfer window, but a deal failed to materialise before the deadline on Tuesday.

Celtic were also thought to be keen on the forward, and according to The Express, when the Scottish giants approached Michu, he informed them that he is thinking about quitting football altogether.

Michu signed for the Swans from Rayo Vallecano in 2012.
