Swansea City net Valencia trip

Swansea City will face Valencia in Group A of the Europa League.

Swansea City have been handed a trip to Valencia in the Europa League group stage draw.

An encounter with the Spanish giants provides the worst possible draw for Michael Laudrup's side, but they will savour a trip to the 2004 UEFA Cup winners.

The Swans have also been handed a trip to Russia to play Kuban Krasnodar, with the group being completed by Swiss outfit St Gallen.

The opening matches of the group stages will be played on September 19.
