Sunderland are reportedly keen to offer 21-year-old Duncan Watmore a new contract.

Sunderland are reportedly keen to offer Duncan Watmore a new contract at the Stadium of Light.

The young player, whose current deal runs out next summer, has been selected to feature in three Premier League games by head coach Dick Advocaat this season.

According to the Sunderland Echo, Watmore is part of Advocaat's plans and the club are keen to agree fresh terms with the 21-year-old.

Watmore recently earned a call-up to the England Under-21 squad.
