Fabio Borini and Jeremain Lens have reportedly secured permanent transfers away from Sunderland.
During the summer, Borini and Lens penned season-long loan deals with AC Milan and Besiktas respectively with the option of sealing a full-time contract should they play a certain number of games.
According to the Northern Echo, both players are effectively no longer Sunderland players after earning regular football at the Italian and Turkish giants.
Borini has already made a total of 25 appearances in all competitions for Milan, with 19 coming during the club's disappointing Serie A campaign.
Lens has only made 13 league outings for Besiktas - seven coming from the bench - but the Dutchman's contribution has triggered a clause in his contract.
