Sunderland duo Lee Cattermole and John O'Shea could be facing lengthy absences through injury.

The pair were forced off during Saturday's 4-2 defeat to West Bromwich Albion at the Stadium of Light.

Both players are expected to miss Tuesday's visit of bottom-placed Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League.
