Stoke City sign Egypt winger Ramadan Sobhi from Al Ahly

Stoke City confirm the signing of Egyptian teenager Ramadan Sobhi from Al Ahly on a deal said to be worth £5m.

Stoke City have announced the signing of Egypt international Ramadan Sobhi from Al Ahly.

The 19-year-old winger, who has been capped six times for his country, joins the Potters on a deal said to be worth £5m.

Stoke chief executive Tony Scholes told BBC Sport: "He's a special young talent who is excited about the prospect of making an impact in the Premier League and we're looking forward to giving him that platform."

Sobhi is the Bet365 Stadium outfit's first signing of the summer, with Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen also rumoured to be joining imminently.
