Stoke City will reportedly complete a club-record move for Inter Milan winger Xherdan Shaqiri later today.
The Swiss star was spotted at the Britannia Stadium on Sunday as the Potters narrowly lost to Liverpool on the opening day of the new season, sparking talk of an imminent move.
The Telegraph claims that the 23-year-old, who Inter Milan have been keen to sell, has agreed personal terms and passed a medical with the club, and will formally sign tomorrow.
The fee is set to be around £12m, and Shaqiri will become the club's highest earner on £60,000 a week.
Everton and Newcastle United have also registered an interest in the player, but the paper claims that this will not be a serious hurdle for Mark Hughes as he looks to quickly push the deal through.
Shaqiri could make his debut against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
