Peter Crouch wants Stoke City stay

Stoke City striker Peter Crouch says that he is happy to remain at the club.

Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has insisted that he has no plans to leave the club.

The 33-year-old, who has just over a year remaining on his current deal, was linked with a move away from the Britannia Stadium during the January transfer window.

However, Crouch has said that he would be happy to extend his stay with the Potters.

"I've got no ambitions to move. I feel very happy here," TEAMtalk quotes him as saying.

"I enjoy playing for the manager (Mark Hughes) and I have a lot of friends.

"Hopefully I can get a few more goals."

Crouch joined Stoke from Tottenham Hotspur in 2011.
