Bournemouth have agreed a £2m fee with Stoke City to sign defender Marc Wilson, according to reports.
The 28-year-old recently appeared to hit out at Potters boss Mark Hughes during a clash with supporters on Twitter, after which Hughes said that the player had expressed frustration in the wrong way.
"It's fair to say that Marc feels his future lies elsewhere and it's fair to say I probably agree with him," Hughes said last week.
According to Sky Sports News, the Cherries are hoping to get the deal completed in the next 48 hours, marking a return for Wilson to a club where he spent two separate periods on loan in 2007.
Wilson signed for Stoke from Portsmouth in 2010 and has made over 150 appearances for the Potters.
