Tottenham Hotspur prepare to offer Inter Milan centre-back Stefan de Vrij a four-year contract to join club, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing to offer Inter Milan centre-back Stefan de Vrij a four-year contract in order to join the North London club during this summer's transfer window.

The 30-year-old, who spent two seasons playing under now Spurs boss Antonio Conte at Inter, has again been an important player for the Italian champions this term, featuring on 29 occasions in all competitions.

De Vrij has entered the final 18 months of his contract at San Siro, though, and according to InterLive.it, the Serie A giants are prepared to sell him this summer for a fee in the region of €25m (£20.6m).

The report claims that Spurs are preparing to place a four-year deal on the table for the Netherlands international, which would be worth in the region of €6.5m (£5.4m) a season.

De Vrij has made 153 appearances for Inter since joining the club from Lazio in 2018, contributing eight goals and six assists, winning Serie A and the Italian Super Cup.

Tottenham are also said to be keen to sign Southampton defender Tino Livramento during this summer's transfer window, with Conte set to remain at the club despite the recent speculation.
