Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing a £40m bid for Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake.
The 24-year-old spent the 2017-18 campaign on loan with the Cherries from Chelsea before completing a permanent move to the Vitality Stadium in last summer's transfer window.
Ake did not miss a single Premier League game for Eddie Howe's last term, while he contributed four goals and one assist in his 38 top-flight appearances.
According to The Sun, Tottenham are eyeing a £40m swoop for the Netherlands international, who was an unused substitute in the UEFA Nations League final on Sunday night.
Mauricio Pochettino's side are also reportedly leading the race for Sporting Lisbon attacker Bruno Fernandes.
