Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly targeting a move for Porto striker Ze Luis, with agent Jorge Mendes said to be brokering a deal between the two clubs.
Ze Luis has scored seven goals in 12 Primeira Liga appearances this season, having joined from Spartak Moscow in the summer.
According to reports in Portugal, the Cape Verde international is a loan target for the North London club, with an option-to-buy clause currently being negotiated.
The reports add that one potential issue is gaining a work permit, as Ze Luis does not hold a Portuguese passport.
Spurs are on the lookout for a new forward after Harry Kane was ruled out for three months.
Jose Mourinho's side currently sit eighth in the Premier League table, nine points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea.
