Tottenham Hotspur 'eye Gelson Martins, Cedric Soares, Ruben Neves'

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino reportedly adds Portuguese trio Gelson Martins, Cedric Soares and Ruben Neves to his summer transfer wishlist.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified three Portuguese internationals as possible transfer targets this summer.

Sporting Lisbon winger Gelson Martins, Southampton full-back Cedric Soares and Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves are all understood to have been added to Mauricio Pochettino's wishlist as he looks to strengthen his squad ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.

One of Pochettino's priorities is thought to be bringing in a winger, and 22-year-old Martins - who is able to play on the left or right - is considered a possible alternative to Wilfried Zaha and Malcom, both of whom have also been linked with a move to the club's new stadium.

The future of Cedric has also drawn the gaze of Spurs ahead of the summer, with the 26-year-old defender expected to be amongst the players to leave St Mary's should Southampton suffer relegation this season.

Southampton currently sit 18th in the Premier League table and four points from safety with only four matches of the season remaining, and any arrival for Cedric in North London could cast doubt over the future of Serge Aurier.

Pochettino is also understood to have been impressed with the form of Neves, whose performances for Wolves have helped inspire them to the Championship title and a place in the top flight next season.
