Tottenham Hotspur are ready to make a move in the transfer market for the first time this summer with a bid for Real Betis winger Alvaro Vadillo, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur are poised to make a swoop for Real Betis winger Alvaro Vadillo, according to a report.

Spurs are yet to make a splash in the transfer market this summer and are looking for depth out wide should Gareth Bale leave in the coming weeks.

Andre Villas-Boas's side are already in talks with Betis over a possible move for the 18-year-old but no fee has yet been agreed, reports The Express.

Vadillo made 14 appearances for the La Liga side last season.
