Tottenham Hotspur 'eye £97m swoop for Raul Jimenez, Issa Diop'

Tottenham Hotspur line up a double move for West Ham United centre-back Issa Diop and Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly lining up moves for West Ham United centre-back Issa Diop and Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez during this summer's transfer window.

Jimenez, who has scored 22 times in 44 appearances for Wolves during the 2019-20 campaign, has allegedly been identified by Spurs boss Jose Mourinho as a key target ahead of next season.

According to Foot Mercato, Tottenham believe that they could sign the Mexico international for £44m this summer, while the club are also seeking a move for West Ham defender Diop.

The report claims that the Frenchman, who moved to the London Stadium from Toulouse in the summer of 2018, could be available for £53m this summer.

Spurs are expected to move for a new forward ahead of the 2020-21 campaign regardless of whether Harry Kane leaves the club, while a new centre-back is believed to be a priority with Jan Vertonghen seemingly on his way out.

Mourinho's side, though, are allegedly unlikely to move for Aston Villa's Jack Grealish this summer.
