Stoke City are reportedly closing in on a loan deal for Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers.
The 21-year-old has made four cup appearances for Spurs but is yet to make his Premier League debut, spending the last two seasons on loan in the Championship.
Having previously enjoyed spells with Sheffield United and Ipswich Town, Carter-Vickers was most recently with Swansea City, where he made 33 appearances.
The Daily Mail reports that Wigan Athletic, Bristol City and Leeds United also registered their interest in the American international, who now looks set to join Nathan Jones's men until the end of the season.
Should the move go through before today's transfer deadline, Carter-Vickers will likely be in the Potters' squad for their away trip to Charlton Athletic on Saturday afternoon.
