Members of the Tottenham Hotspur first-team squad have reportedly acknowledged that they may have to win a trophy in order to keep Harry Kane at the club.
Kane has recently penned a long-term contract at the North London outfit, and there is no suggestion that the forward would contemplate an exit ahead of next season.
However, according to The Telegraph, Kane struggled to hide his frustration after Spurs lost to Chelsea earlier this week, a result which realistically rules the team out of the Premier League title race.
Spurs remain in the hunt for the Champions League and are favourites to progress past Borussia Dortmund and reach the quarter-finals, but it appears that a number of players feel that they must deliver silverware sooner rather than later.
Daniel Levy would demand well in excess of £100m if Spurs were ever to consider parting ways with their top goalscorer.
