Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte is reportedly keen for Ryan Sessegnon to pen a new long-term contract.
The 21-year-old has endured a difficult period at the club since his arrival in 2019, the left-sided player making just 28 appearances in all competitions.
However, more than half of those outings have come this season, many of which have taken place since Conte arrived in North London in November.
Having been provided with regular minutes in the Premier League since the turn of the year, Football Insider claims that club officials have opened talks over fresh terms.
The report adds that Conte is a strong believer in the potential of Sessegnon, who he feels can become a star for both the club and in the Premier League in general.
Sessegnon, who cost £25m when he signed from Fulham, still has over three years remaining on his existing deal.
