Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Islam Slimani as a potential January addition.
With Harry Kane expected to be sidelined until April, Jose Mourinho is keen to bring in a new frontman before the end of the month.
According to The Telegraph, Slimani is on his radar, despite the Leicester City forward being on loan at Monaco.
The 31-year-old has enjoyed a strong campaign with the Ligue 1 side, contributing seven goals and seven assists from just 13 matches.
However, it is suggested that Leicester may be against strengthening a potential rival with the Algeria international.
Aston Villa have also been considering an approach for the player, although a deal appears unlikely at this stage.
