Tottenham Hotspur duo Etienne Capoue, Benjamin Stambouli heading for Watford?

Watford are reportedly on the verge of signing Tottenham Hotspur pair Etienne Capoue and Benjamin Stambouli.

Watford have reportedly agreed fees to sign Tottenham Hotspur duo Etienne Capoue and Benjamin Stambouli.

Both players struggled for first-team action last season, making 43 appearances between them in all competitions.

Capoue, 29, joined Tottenham from Toulouse for £9m in 2013, while 24-year-old Stambouli arrived at White Hart Lane from Montpellier last summer.

The pair could now be on their way to Premier League newcomers Watford, according to Sky Sports News.

Spurs begin the new season with a trip to Manchester United on August 8.
