Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly moved a step closer to signing Victor Wanyama after agreeing a fee with Southampton.
Head coach Mauricio Pochettino has been a long-term admirer of the midfielder after working with him during his time at St Mary's, and it appears that the Argentine will finally be reunited with the 24-year-old.
According to Sky Sports News, the two clubs have agreed a fee of between £11m and £12m, with Wanyama said to be ready to undergo a medical on Monday.
Since joining from Celtic in 2013, Wanyama has made 97 appearances for the Saints in all competitions but he has always made it known that he is keen to return to Champions League football.
Southampton are currently without a manager after the departure of Ronald Koeman to Everton but it will not slow down any deal for Wanyama being completed.
