Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has claimed that the club should sign "one or two" more players if they want to challenge for trophies this season.
Spurs have spent nearly £59m on four new faces this summer, including a club record £26m for striker Roberto Soldado from Valencia.
"We've brought in a few good players," Sigurdsson told the Tottenham Journal.
"Hopefully there will be one or two more to strengthen our squad because it's a long season, we've got many competitions, and we need a lot of good players."
Tottenham are reported to be closing in on a move for Anzhi Makhachkala midfielder Willian.
