Roma have reportedly scheduled a meeting with Erik Lamela's representatives to seek clarification over the Argentine's future at the Olimpico.
Lamela has been consistently linked with Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks, with the winger thought to be considered a viable alternative if Gareth Bale seals a summer switch to Real Madrid.
With the 21-year-old's long-term future uncertain, Lamela's father has flown to Rome today for talks with the Giallorossi, according to Sky Sport Italia.
Spurs are thought to be confident of persuading Lamela to leave Italy if a fee can be agreed, using the leverage provided by former Roma director Franco Baldini, who now works at White Hart Lane.
Since joining Roma in 2011 the left-sided forward has scored 21 goals in 66 appearances, while also making his senior debut for Argentina.
