Roma have reportedly identified Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama as a possible summer signing.
The Italian giants are currently going through a transitional period ahead of the new campaign, with funds being generated from the sales of Alisson Becker and Radja Nainggolan.
Eight first-team signings have already been made, and manager Luciano Spalletti is also keen on adding another defensive-minded midfielder to his squad before the end of the transfer window.
Sevilla's Steven N'Zonzi has been heavily linked with a switch to the Stadio Olimpico, but according to La Repubblica, Roma are also considering an offer for Wanyama.
The Kenya international was only used on a rotational basis by Mauricio Pochettino last season after returning from a knee injury, but the 27-year-old could play a more active role during the upcoming campaign should Mousa Dembele be sold.
Wanyama still has three years remaining on his contract with the North London outfit.
