Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Sergi Samper on loan in the January transfer window.
Samper, 19, has been tipped as one of the best young talents in European football and has been involved in Barca's first-team squad this season.
While the Catalan outfit will not entertain any transfer offers for the teenager, it is understood that a loan move would appeal to all parties.
According to the Daily Mail, that news has attracted the interest of Spurs, who are preparing to swoop at the start of next month.
