Report: Tottenham Hotspur to make opening bid for Saido Berahino

Tottenham Hotspur will make a £15m bid for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino, according to reports.

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly table their first offer for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino this week.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to North London for the majority of this window, as Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino continues to hunt for a new strike partner for Harry Kane.

West Brom boss Tony Pulis admitted that Berahino could leave this month, and The Telegraph claims that Spurs will bid around £15m.

The Baggies are thought to value the England Under-21 international at approximately £25m, and are not keen on accepting anything much lower.

Berahino has scored 29 career goals for Albion since his debut in 2013.
