Report: Tottenham Hotspur eye £25m-rated Saido Berahino

Spurs turn their attentions toward £25m-rated West Brom star Saido Berahino after growing concerned with Southampton ace Jay Rodriguez's injuries, according to reports.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly contacted West Bromwich Albion over a January move for £25m-rated forward Saido Berahino.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino was initially thought to be keen on reuniting with Jay Rodriguez, who he managed at Southampton.

However, the 25-year-old's ongoing knee problems have forced the Argentine into enquiring about Berahino, according to the Daily Mail.

The Baggies hitman has struck seven Premier League goals so far this season, but the 21-year-old - whose contract expires in 2017 - is without a goal in two months.
