Report: Roberto Soldado close to Tottenham Hotspur exit

Tottenham Hotspur striker Roberto Soldado is close to securing a move to Sevilla, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Roberto Soldado is reportedly close to sealing a move to Sevilla.

The Spain international moved to White Hart Lane from Valencia for £30m in 2013, but has netted just seven times in the Premier League.

Sevilla have funds to spend after selling Carlos Bacca to AC Milan for a fee believed to be in the region of £21m.

According to London 24, Sevilla are looking at Soldado to bolster their attacking options and are planning to spend £12m on him.

The 30-year-old scored 59 goals in 101 La Liga appearances for Valencia prior to joining Tottenham.

Soldado has won 12 caps for Spain, netting seven times.
