Sevilla sporting director Monchi has distanced his club from speculation linking them with a move for Barcelona youngster Alen Halilovic.
It has been reported that the Europa League winners want to sign the Barcelona B attacker on loan for the 2015-16 campaign.
However, Monchi has claimed that head coach Unai Emery is not looking to strengthen in the Croatian's position.
"Alen Halilovic? He's a player with a big future but we have Ever Banega, Denis Suarez, Vicente Iborra, Steven N'Zonzi... we don't see a need to strengthen there," Monchi is quoted by Marca as saying.
Haililovic is currently on Barcelona's tour of the United States.
