West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis is reportedly still considering whether to push ahead with a £15m bid for Tottenham Hotspur defender Kevin Wimmer.
The Austria international has been touted with a move to The Hawthorns after struggling to break into Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino's plans, not helped by the impending arrival of Davinson Sanchez from Ajax.
Premier League rivals Crystal Palace and Stoke City are also said to have made an enquiry over the centre-back's valuation, but it is Albion who are in the driving seat.
According to Sky Sports News, however, Pulis has delayed tabling an official offer until he is certain that Wimmer is the right man to shore up his backline.
The report suggests that Albion's hierarchy have sanctioned the transfer and are now awaiting the Welshman's decision.
