Hull City are reportedly preparing to begin discussions with Tottenham Hotspur over the permanent capture of Jake Livermore.
The midfielder is said to have impressed manager Steve Bruce during his season-long loan at the KC Stadium in the 2013-14 campaign.
According to the Hull Daily Mail, Spurs have suggested a price tag that is twice the figure of the £4m to £5m valuation by the Tigers.
Despite the clubs being quite a distance apart with regards to the initial fee, it is believed that Hull are hopeful of securing Livermore's services for next season.
