Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has claimed that Luka Modric could leave the club at the end of the season.
Spurs were thought to have rejected three bids from Chelsea last summer before they persuaded the Croatian playmaker to stay.
Despite suggesting that Gareth Bale, who has been linked with Barcelona, is likely to remain at White Hart Lane, Redknapp believes that Modric could be on his way out.
"Last summer it was vital that we kept hold of Luka," he told reporters.
"I don't think we will have to do it with people like Gareth Bale this summer.
"Luka, it's different with him. I don't know what he would do. I would be lying if I said I was sure that he would stay. You don't know."
Redknapp's side continue their battle for fourth spot on Sunday when they host Blackburn Rovers.
