Luka Modric will reportedly move to Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur within the next two days after a drawn-out saga.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luka Modric is reportedly expected to complete his move to Real Madrid within the next 48 hours.

The Croatia international, who has been training alone since admitting to the North London club that he wanted to leave, has been amid a transfer saga between Spurs and the Spanish champions, who have struggled to agree a fee for the playmaker.

It is understood that both parties are expected to come to an agreement in the next two days, which will allow Modric to fly to Madrid to undergo a medical and decide personal terms, according to ESPN.

Spurs are believed to have been holding out for a fee in the region of £35m from the Spanish giants.
