Luka Modric is expected to discuss his future at Tottenham Hotspur with chairman Daniel Levy today, according to Sky Sports News.
The midfielder has revealed his ambitions to play in the Champions League, an opportunity that Chelsea is keen to offer him.
However, Spurs manager Harry Redknapp dismissed the Blues’ recent £22m offer as “farcical” and stated that the club have no intention of letting the Croatian go, regardless of price.
Levy is understood to be willing to give Modric, last season’s player of the year, a bump to his £45,000-per-week salary to solidify his future at White Hart Lane.
Manchester United and Manchester City also have designs on the 24-year-old, who is contracted until 2016.
