Tottenham Hotspur have announced that Harry Winks has signed a new five-year contract with the club.
The 20-year-old was handed his Premier League debut off the bench against Liverpool earlier this season, and the North London outfit have signalled their intent to use the midfielder on a more regular basis by handing him a deal which runs through to 2021.
Winks told Spurs TV: "I've had a good start to the season, come back in good shape and am loving every minute. To be offered a new contract is the icing on the cake. I'm over the moon with it.
"The manager has done some excellent things with young players, including myself. He likes to push us all, wants to get the best out of us and I believe I'm improving every day."
Winks has played a total of four times for Spurs, with his other three appearances coming as a substitute in Europa League matches.
