Harry Winks pens new Tottenham Hotspur deal

Twenty-year-old midfielder Harry Winks signs a new long-term deal with Tottenham Hotspur, which will run until the summer of 2019.

Tottenham Hotspur have announced that 20-year-old midfielder Harry Winks has signed a new contract with the Premier League outfit.

Winks, whose three first-team appearances for Spurs have all come in the Europa League this season, has penned an extension that will run until the summer of 2019.

"I'm delighted. As a young player it's everything you want. You want to be around top players and a top club that's pushing for the best honours," Winks told the club's official website.

"It's a fantastic club to be involved with especially at such a young age. The manager trusts young players and I'm grateful for the chance he's given me".

Winks, who came through the academy at Tottenham, has five England Under-20 caps to his name.
