Marseille want Benjamin Stambouli?

Marseille are reportedly plotting a summer move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Benjamin Stambouli.

Marseille are reportedly keen to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Benjamin Stambouli this summer.

The 24-year-old only arrived at White Hart Lane from Montpellier HSC 12 months ago, in a deal thought to be worth around £5m.

However, he has struggled to hold down a regular spot in Mauricio Pochettino's starting lineup, which has resulted in suggestions that he could leave at the end of the season.

That has alerted Marseille, who were eager to sign the former France Under-21 international before he moved to Spurs, according to the Sunday People.

Stambouli has made 24 appearances in all competitions for the North Londoners.
