Lokomotiv Moscow have reportedly refused to back down in their bid to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Roman Pavlyuchenko.
The Russian frontman has been rumoured to be leaving White Hart Lane this month due to a lack of first-team chances in Harry Redknapp's side.
With Newcastle United, Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers being touted as possible destinations, Lokomotiv Moscow are believed to be the only club stepping up their pursuit of the forward.
The Russian side are ready to lodge a bid in the region of £8m following a rejected £6.5m offer, according to the Daily Mail.
Tottenham are believed to be interested in pocketing £10m for the striker.
