Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has revealed that Tom Huddlestone was given permission to speak to Fulham over a possible move away from White Hart Lane.
However, the 35-year-old admitted that he was not sure whether their London rivals would be completing a deal to sign the England international.
Villas-Boas told Sky Sports News: "There was an interest from Fulham. I'm not sure if they're going to follow on that interest.
"We've allowed the club to speak to the player. He's a player we rate very highly."
Reports on Wednesday suggested that Fulham had made a £5m bid for Huddlestone.
