AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie has reportedly rejected a contract offer from Tottenham Hotspur amid speculation over his San Siro future.
The 24-year-old's deal with Stefano Pioli's side is due to expire at the end of the current season, and he has been linked with the likes of Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool among others.
Tottenham are thought to be eyeing engine room additions with Tanguy Ndombele and Moussa Sissoko's futures uncertain, but Kessie has previously announced his desire to remain at Milan "forever" .
According to Calciomercato, Nuno Espirito Santo's side tabled a contract offer worth £132k a week in North London, but the midfielder rejected that proposal as he prioritises talks with Milan.
However, the report adds that Milan director Paolo Maldini is open to selling Kessie this summer if a new deal cannot be agreed, with the Rossoneri's latest contract offer including a salary of £82k per week.
Kessie scored one goal for the Ivory Coast at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and struck 13 goals in 37 Serie A games during the 2020-21 season, as well as providing six assists.
