Crystal Palace are reportedly confident of completing a deal to sign Nathan Ferguson from West Bromwich Albion this summer.
The Eagles were on the verge of bringing the 19-year-old to Selhurst Park during the January transfer window, only for the move to break down at the 11th hour when the medical uncovered a knee problem.
Ferguson has not played for the Baggies since seeing the deal fall through having undergone corrective surgery on the issue, and his contract at The Hawthorns expires this summer.
The Evening Standard reports that Palace are now close to getting their man at the second time of asking, despite West Brom's desire to keep hold of the youngster.
Ferguson, who has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, made 21 Championship appearances for West Brom this season before his knee issue was discovered.
