The agent of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen is reportedly set to undergo talks with Real Madrid this week over a possible summer transfer.
The 27-year-old is understood to be one of the players on Madrid's shortlist of potential midfield reinforcements this summer, although speculation over a deal had died down in recent days with the Spanish outfit seemingly focusing on Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek.
Manchester United's Pogba remains Los Blancos' number one target, but Marca reports that Tottenham's new asking price for Eriksen has led to Madrid reviving their interest.
Spurs had been holding out for around €150m (£135m) last summer, but the Dane has just one year remaining on his contract in North London and could be available for less than half that sum now.
The Champions League runners-up will reportedly consider bids of €70m (£62.7m) for the playmaker, whose agent Martin Schoots is thought to be heading to Madrid this week to gauge Real's interest.
Eriksen represents a much cheaper option than Pogba, who is valued at £150m by United, while he also has more experience at the top level than Van de Beek, who could be available for £44.8m.
